Common questions about Appointment Scheduling

Can clients book appointments online without me approving each one?
Yes. You set your availability rules (which hours, which services, which clinicians), and clients book directly within those rules. You can also require manual approval for first-time clients if you prefer.
How do automated reminders work — by SMS, email, or both?
Both. You set the reminder schedule (24h before, 1h before, etc.) and the channel. Most practices use a combo: email 24h before, SMS 1h before. SMS reminders are included.
Can I share my CompanyOn calendar with my personal Google or Outlook calendar?
Yes. Two-way sync with Google Calendar and Outlook means your work appointments show in your personal calendar and vice versa. Block off time on either side and CompanyOn respects it.
I run a team — can each clinician have their own calendar?
Yes. Each team member has their own calendar with their own availability, service types, and booking link. Admins can see all calendars in one combined view.
Does the Route Map feature work in cities outside Canada?
Yes. Route Map uses standard mapping providers and works for any address worldwide. Practices in Canada and the US use it daily.
